1.5.82.0

  • A new Help guide explains every feature, reachable from the top bar, the mobile menu, and the footer.
  • The guide covers creating and editing cards, printing, topics, backup, and the easy-to-miss features, with illustrations.
  • A table of contents on the side tracks your place as you scroll, and collapses into a menu on mobile.
  • The guide is available in English and Polish.

1.5.81.0

  • Cloud backup and the recovery key have been removed.
  • To back up your collection, use Export on the My Cards page to save a JSON file, and Import to restore it.

1.5.80.0

  • Select all on the print page now only selects cards that are currently visible, so printed cards hidden by the hide-printed filter are not accidentally re-selected.
  • Select mode on the My Cards page has three new controls: a hide-printed toggle, a "Select all visible" button, and a "Deselect all" button.
  • The print page has a sort picker so you can order the sheet by Recently added, Title A-Z, Year, or Topic, and the choice is remembered between sessions.
  • The card editor has Prev and Next buttons so you can move to the adjacent card without returning to the list, and the order follows whatever filter and sort you had active.
  • Save and go to previous and Save and go to next buttons let you save the current card and move in one step.
  • If you have unsaved edits and press Prev or Next, the editor asks whether to discard them before moving.
  • Sort labels in the sort picker now display in Polish when the Polish language is active.

1.5.79.0

  • BGG Geek Preview import now places cards into their own named collection instead of the shared Tabletop topic, and you choose the collection name when you start an import.
  • The Geek Preview card layout is redesigned: publisher on the first subtitle line, designers on the second, with slots for booth, price or demo status, player count, playtime, and priority.
  • A demo slot shows "Demo" when a game has no price, a price slot shows the currency symbol and amount (€, $, £, or zł), and games listed only as for sale show "For Sale".
  • Currency symbols are resolved from the currency code, so EUR becomes €, USD becomes $, GBP becomes £, and PLN shows the amount followed by zł.
  • The priority slot shows Buy, Play, or Think for priorities 3, 2, and 1, and you can change the labels before starting an import.
  • The import menu item is labelled BGG Geek Preview and appears right after Import from BGG, only when the BGG source is enabled.
  • All the fair-specific machinery from the previous iteration has been removed, and the route has been reworked in place with the new design.

1.5.78.0

  • You can now import a BGG Geek Preview CSV (for example a SPIEL Essen preview list) to create boardgame cards automatically.
  • Each imported game is enriched with full BGG data: cover art, player count, playtime, weight, and more.
  • Booth locations are formatted cleanly as "Hall 2 · E610", and multi-booth games list all their halls.
  • Show price is used when available, falling back to MSRP, and missing prices are left blank rather than shown as N/A.
  • Priority is shown as a clear label: Must have, Interested, or Undecided.
  • Games already in your collection are detected by BGG id and skipped automatically.
  • A recommended Geek Preview card template is seeded automatically on your first import so you can start straight away.
  • The Geek Preview import sits in the Import menu right after Import from BGG, and appears only when the BGG source and the Tabletop topic are enabled.
  • An import progress bar and end-of-run report show how many cards were saved, skipped, or failed.

1.5.77.0

  • Card backs with the Split layout can now show the bottom area as a numbered step list instead of a free-text note.
  • Step lists support two styles: a plain numbered list, or coloured circles containing the step number.
  • The step list in the card back editor lets you add up to 9 steps and reorder or remove them freely.
  • The DETAILS and NOTES section headers on Split card backs can now be hidden via a toggle in the editor, defaulting to visible.
  • Two new icons, a chef hat and a pair of utensils, are now available in the icon picker for stat slots, subtitle lines, and pennants.

1.5.75.0

  • A new white-balance icon is now available in the icon picker, showing a sun with a half-shaded centre circle.
  • The ISO icon has been redrawn as a bold "ISO" text label so it reads clearly at small sizes instead of the previous film-canister glyph.
  • Card back rows in the Key-Value and Split back designs can now have a per-row icon, shown to the left of the row name; rows with no name display the icon on its own.

1.5.74.0

  • You can now import your Steam library by entering a Steam vanity name or profile ID, and Klaser creates one videogames card per game automatically.
  • When starting a Steam library import you pick an existing videogames card as a format template, and every imported game copies its layout.
  • Steam is now a fetch source in the card editor: search for a game by title and pull its genre, developer, release year, Metacritic score, platforms, publisher, and cover art directly onto the card.
  • Private Steam profiles show a clear message instead of failing silently.
  • Steam starts switched off; enable it for the Games topic in Settings to show the Steam fetch button and import option.

1.5.73.1

  • On the card back, long slot names and values no longer get squeezed into a narrow column. Each name now sits on its own line with its value on the line below, both using the full width of the card.
  • Card back notes now use the same clean font as the slot values, instead of the old slanted italic style.

1.5.73.0

  • Nine new photography icons are now available in the icon picker for stat slots, subtitle lines, and pennants.
  • The new icons cover ISO, aperture, shutter speed, camera, lens, flash, tripod, focus point, and exposure.
  • All photography icons follow the same thin line-art style as the existing icon set and render identically in the editor and on printed cards.
  • These photography icons are dedicated to Aga.

1.5.72.0

  • Music is now a 7th collection topic, covering albums with slots for artist, year, genre, format, and label.
  • You can search Discogs for any album and fetch its details directly onto a music card.
  • Cover art from Discogs is fetched and saved with the card.
  • You can import your entire public Discogs collection by username, creating one card per album automatically.
  • If a Discogs collection is set to private, the import shows a clear message instead of failing silently.
  • Collection import now has its own page per source, and the Import menu only offers a source when you have its topic and scraper enabled.
  • When importing a Discogs collection you can pick one music card as a format template, and every imported album copies its layout.
  • The base version advances to 1.5 to mark the Music and Discogs milestone.

1.4.71.2

  • "Copy onto this card" now stages the copied settings into the editor form without saving immediately. Review the changes and save or cancel as normal.

1.4.71.1

  • Card titles that are just wide enough to fill the line no longer get cut off with an ellipsis, they now shrink slightly or wrap to a second line so the whole title shows.

1.4.71.0

  • The topic card back is now a clean minimal design showing the topic icon inside a thin accent-coloured ring on a cream or white background.
  • You can pick a different back icon for each topic from a set of 16 emblems, or clear it to go back to the topic default.
  • You can add an optional short label to a topic back, shown below the icon ring.

1.4.70.1

  • Card titles now resize to fit the title area by measuring the real text, instead of guessing from how many characters it has.
  • A title fills one line first and shrinks from 20px down to 17px, then wraps to two lines shrinking from 17px to 13px, then to three lines, and only trims with an ellipsis when nothing else fits.

1.4.70.0

  • Multiple and leading spaces you type into card text are now kept exactly as written, so you can line things up by hand.
  • Board game player counts from BoardGameGeek now use a plain hyphen, like 2-5, which reads more clearly and is easy to retype.
  • Board games imported from BoardGameGeek now include a Type field, such as Strategy or Family, taken from the game classification.
  • Copying settings between cards no longer erases free text you have typed into a subtitle line or stat slot.
  • The live preview now flips to the front by itself when you start editing a front field, the same way it already flips to the back.
  • Four new icons are available in the icon picker: library, hard drive, checkbox, and wrench.

1.4.69.0

  • Turning on Bleed now adds a real coloured border around each card on the print sheet so slightly-off cuts still leave a clean edge.
  • When both Bleed and Crop marks are on, each card gets corner marks at its net trim line showing exactly where to cut.
  • Adjacent cards sit edge-to-edge with no white gaps between them, so the cream fill is continuous across the sheet.
  • The old dashed gold bleed guide rectangle has been removed and replaced by the solid bleed fill.

1.4.68.0

  • You can now select one or more cards on the My Cards screen and move them to a different topic using the new "Move to topic" button in the bulk action bar.
  • When you move a card, its stat slots, subtitle bindings, and pennant binding are converted to plain editable text so the values are preserved and can be freely edited in the new topic.
  • A two-step dialog lets you pick the target topic and then confirm before anything is changed, so no data is lost accidentally.
  • Cards whose topic has been deleted now appear in their own "Unknown topic" group on the print page, so you can see and manage them.
  • Orphaned cards are unselected by default on the print page, so they cannot be accidentally included in a print run.

1.4.67.2

  • Long card titles that wrap onto two lines now use a larger, more readable font size.
  • Two-line titles have a little more breathing room between the lines.
  • Minor spacing tweaks below the title balance the subtitle, poster, and footer.

1.4.67.1

  • The Card Backs settings page now shows how a back is chosen for each card: the card override first, then the topic back, then the global default.
  • On a phone, picking a card back for a topic now highlights the chosen design straight away instead of only after you reopen the editor.
  • Restoring a backup with an invalid topic colour is now safely rejected rather than applied.

1.4.67.0

  • Cards can now have a custom back design chosen at three levels: a global default in Settings, a per-topic override in Settings > Topics, and a per-card override in the card editor.
  • Six back designs are available: Default (the original category wheel), Emblem (centered asterisk monogram), Note (ruled lines for handwriting), Data Slots (key-value rows), Split (data rows above, notes below), and Topic (large category glyph in your topic color).
  • Data Slots and Split backs can display values pulled automatically from the card's scraped data, so they update whenever you re-fetch.
  • The print screen has a new "Uniform back" toggle that forces every card in the run to use the same back design, regardless of individual settings.
  • The card editor shows a front/back flip preview so you can see the back design while editing. It flips automatically when you edit notes or data-slot content, and you can flip it manually on both desktop and mobile.
  • "Card back" is now the sixth option in the Copy Settings chip row, so you can copy a back design from one card to others in bulk.
  • The global default back design is included in your data export and restored on import.

1.3.66.1

  • Small adjustment (1px) of pennant position
  • Value of Best With|Recommended number of players, now doesn't have spaces before and after '|' for better fitting on slot place
  • Pennant icon now stays upright when the pennant is vertical, so it stays readable instead of rotating with the label
  • BGG version picker no longer shows literal backslash escapes in titles like "Aeon's End: Legacy"
  • "Copy settings from another card" on the card editor now actually applies the picked values to the live form

1.3.66.0

  • A new Topics screen in Settings lets you rename, recolor, hide, reorder, and reset any built-in topic.
  • Create your own custom topics with a name and a palette color, and delete them when you no longer need them.
  • For each built-in topic that has multiple data sources, choose which sources Klaser fetches from: one, both, or neither.
  • Cards saved under a deleted custom topic still appear in your collection with a neutral "Unknown topic" label so nothing is lost.
  • Topic customisations are included in your backup and restore cleanly on any device.
  • Your renamed and recoloured topics now appear consistently everywhere: the card grid, print sidebar, PDF, and the card editor.

1.2.65.2

  • Fixed: the dark border around a selected card in the desktop grid now traces the full card outline instead of appearing only at the corners. The wrapper border-radius now matches the card.

1.2.65.1

  • Fixed: the checkbox chip in the mobile grid (and desktop grid thumb) showed a dark patch over the card title when selection mode was active. The chip is now fully opaque cream so the title underneath stays hidden.

1.2.65.0

  • Copy Settings flow. The base version moves to 1.2 to mark the milestone.
  • A new "Copy Settings" button in the bulk action bar lets you pick a template card from your whole collection (per topic) and apply its layout settings to every selected card in one step.
  • The card editor has a "Copy settings from..." row that copies layout settings from any other card in the same topic onto the card you are editing.
  • Both pickers use a search box that starts empty: type to find the template card you want, then click to pick it.
  • Choose exactly which settings transfer with the "what to copy" chips: stat slots and order, subtitle binding, crop, vertical align, and pennant. Titles, posters, and stat values are never overwritten.
  • Subtitle, pennant, and slot values re-derive from each receiving card's own data after the copy, so a copied "runtime" binding shows each card's own runtime rather than the template's.
  • A new vertical-align control next to Crop sets the poster to Top, Middle, or Bottom in the card frame. Only takes effect when Poster Fit is "Whole poster".
  • The pennant now hangs from a small gold rod fixed to the poster slot edge. Dragging the poster, changing fit, or changing vertical-align no longer moves the pennant.

1.1.64.0

  • Bulk actions for your card collection. The base version moves to 1.1 to mark the milestone.
  • You can now select multiple cards on the My Cards page and act on them all at once: mark as printed, send to the print screen, or delete them in bulk.
  • Cards you have marked as printed now show a green PRINTED tag in the list view and a PRINTED ribbon in the grid view.
  • The print screen has a new "Hide already-printed cards" filter that removes printed cards from the sidebar without changing your selection.
  • A "Mark selected as printed" button on the print screen lets you record that a batch of cards has been printed without actually printing anything.
  • The card editor has a "Mark as printed" toggle so you can mark or unmark a single card directly while editing it.

1.0.63.1

  • Fixed: an expansion card imported from BGG now correctly shows the name of the base game it expands. Previously the field was blank.

1.0.63.0

  • Subtitle lines on cards can now be aligned. Pick "None (align)" as the icon for one line, and its text will line up with the icon-bearing line above or below it.
  • BGG rank now uses a star icon by default, matching how it reads as a score.
  • BGG cards now show your owned expansions for each base game. Base-game cards list every expansion you own; expansion cards point back to their base game.
  • If you own an expansion that adds a solo mode, more players, or both, the card's player range now reflects that combined range (for example, 2 to 4 becomes 1 to 5).
  • The owned-expansion range uplift only applies when you import expansions alongside your collection. If you pick "Exclude expansions" during import, base-game cards show only the base range.
  • Fixed a bug where "Exclude expansions" during BGG import did not actually exclude expansions. Picking it now correctly creates only base-game cards.
  • The FETCHED DATA panel in the card editor no longer lists internal fields like ids and image URLs. Only fields you can pin to a card slot are shown now.

1.0.62.12

  • The experimental 'Save A4 PDF (new)' button has been removed.
  • For A4 sheet printing, use the 'Save as PDF' button: it produces a searchable, selectable-text PDF that matches what you see on the print preview.
  • The 'Save print-shop PDF' button is unchanged and still produces files ready for commercial card printing.

1.0.62.11

  • Internal maintenance: no user-visible changes.

1.0.62.9

  • Internal maintenance: PDF pipeline alignment. No user-visible changes.

1.0.62.7

  • The Save print-shop PDF and Save A4 PDF buttons are now visible on the mobile print screen.

1.0.62.6

  • Bleed indicator on the print preview and A4 PDF is now a single outline around the printable area instead of one box per card.

1.0.62.5

  • Internal maintenance: minor PDF pipeline alignment. No user-visible changes.

1.0.62.3

  • The Klaser brand wheel icon no longer clips the tip of each spoke dot at the icon boundary. This fixes the browser tab favicon and the card-back wheel at all sizes.

1.0.62.2

  • The white-background and bleed settings in the print toolbar are now respected by both PDF generators.
  • The vertical pennant ribbon now aligns with the poster image edge in PDFs, matching the on-screen preview.

1.0.62.1

  • Printed cards now show the vertical pennant ribbon correctly: the V-cut tip, bottom-to-top text, and drop-shadow all render as intended in both the print-shop PDF and the A4 sheet PDF.

1.0.62.0

  • Print screen: the PDF button for commercial print services is now labelled "Save print-shop PDF" (previously showed a vendor name).
  • Print screen: a new "Save A4 PDF (new)" button generates a multi-card sheet PDF honoring your paper size, layout, filter, sides, crop marks, and copy counts, without using the OS print dialog.
  • The new sheet PDF uses the same visual output as the on-screen preview, including any active cover filter.

1.0.61.0

  • Print screen: a new "Save as mbprint PDF" button generates a print-ready PDF file conforming to the mbprint.pl card-print specification (69.5x95mm pages with 3mm bleed, front and back interleaved, ~300 DPI rasterization).
  • The new PDF button honours your card selection and copy counts, and downloads the file automatically with a date-stamped filename.
  • The existing browser print and Save as PDF buttons are unchanged.

1.0.60.0

  • Internal maintenance: tidied up some background plumbing. No user-facing changes.

1.0.59.0

  • BGG: "Best with" and "Recommended with" player counts now match the BGG community thresholds (counts where 50% of voters agree), replacing the old single-winner guess.
  • BGG: non-contiguous best-with sets now render as comma lists (e.g. "4, 6, 8") instead of a misleading range like "4-8".
  • BGG: the slot picker for boardgames now offers three separate options: "Best with", "Recommended with", and the existing combined "Best with | Recommended", all three using the same corrected threshold algorithm.
  • BGG: the "Best with | Recommended" combined slot now uses the same corrected algorithm; re-fetching a boardgame from BGG refreshes its stored value.

1.0.58.0

  • BGG: collection import now shows your localised edition title and cover (e.g. Fasolki rather than Bohnanza).
  • BGG: single-game fetch has a new Choose edition button so you can pick a specific edition without retyping the title.
  • BGG: the edition picker auto-selects a version only when your search targets a localised edition by name (typing "Fasolki" picks the matching Polish edition, typing "Bohnanza" leaves the main entry).
  • BGG: categories and family entries that contain apostrophes now render correctly (Children's Game, 1950's).
  • BGG: the Choose edition button is now visible and usable on mobile and narrow desktop windows.
  • BGG: the picked edition is saved with the card, so export, import, and re-edit keep the right edition.

1.0.57.2

  • BGG: fix auto-search re-firing on every keystroke after modal opens (regression from 1.0.57.1).

1.0.57.1

  • BGG: search auto-fires when modal opens with a pre-filled title, so users skip the manual Search click.

1.0.57.0

  • BGG bulk import now carries subtitle and pennant icons from the template card to every imported card.
  • The version number in the footer now links to this changelog page.
  • Credits and buy-me-a-coffee sections appear at the bottom of the changelog page.

1.0.56.0

  • Print toolbar redesigned: Paper, Sides, and filter controls now use segmented buttons and a dropdown popover instead of a plain select.
  • Crop marks, bleed, and white background now use toggle chips with clear on/off colors instead of checkboxes.
  • Action buttons (Save as PDF, Print) are now 40px tall and sit below the toolbar controls, so they are never clipped at narrow viewports.
  • Mobile print options tab chips re-skinned to match the new desktop design tokens.

1.0.55.1

  • Per-card copy count control on the print screen. Set 1 to 9 copies per card, and the page count updates live.
  • Hover over a card row in the print sidebar to reveal the copy stepper. Moving the cursor toward the stepper no longer hides it.

1.0.54.1

  • Icon picker on slot, subtitle and pennant now has a "no icon" option so a chosen icon can be cleared.
  • Slots without an icon now still print their value text instead of being silently hidden.

1.0.54.0

  • About page now shows a contact email at the bottom.
  • Added seven new icons (best with, designer, brush, languages, trophy, globe, additions) and updated the default icon for boardgame designer, best-with, comic artist, movie language, country, and awards.
  • Subtitle line 1, subtitle line 2, and the pennant can now carry their own icon, shown scaled at the start of the line.

1.0.53.4

  • Subtitle line 2 content no longer moves to line 1 when line 1 is empty.
  • Added this changelog page, linked from the version number in the footer.

1.0.53.3

  • Large posters no longer crash the data export.

1.0.53.2

  • Initial release.
